The pages that follow contain pictures taken on the Friday evening, Saturday morning, and at the fish fry on Saturday.
From left to right are Larry Boyd, Annie Freeman, and Linda Funderberg. The pictue was taken in the Days Inn Motel in Dumas. The festivities were just getting started.
Again we have Larry Boyd, Annie Freeman, And Linda Funderberg. There will be some seventy pictures by the time this page is finished. It may take a while for the completion of this project but good clear color pictures are worth waiting for.
Evelyn Bingham eagerly awaiting the evening festivities and then the remainder of the night before gathering in Watson for visiting during the day and finally what it's all about, the fish fry in the evening.
Rosalie Reynolds Davenport patiently awaiting the commencement of the festivities at the Flatlands Restaurant in Dumas. This picture was taken in the lobby of the Days Inn Motel in Dumas.
Homer Boyd in the lobby of the Days Inn Motel in Dumas. He difinitely made the fish fry the following day. Sadly I must add to this first sentence. At this writing, I just learned that Homer suffered a massive heart attack and passed away this morning, 20 March 2003.
Troyce Smallwood at the Flatland Restaurant in Dumas. Forgive me if I use maiden names with our lady classmates. I feel it is much easier for people who have not kept in touch over the years.
This is iced tea that Pee Wee is holding. This picture of Linda Rowe and Pee Wee Bates was taken in the Flatland Restaurant in Dumas. I'll call this gentleman Pee Wee because I doubt seriously if anyone knows his name.
This picture is of Vera Ann Morgan asnd Christine Morgan. At the time I made my notes I was certain that I would be able to make this clear to our readers. The fact is, I don't have the faintest idea who is who. The answer lies in the mind of the readers.
This picture is of Lois Rowe and Cullen Mock. Please remember that I agreed with myself that I would use maiden names. Since Lois is married to Charles Marlow the most of you will know that her married name is Marlow.
Raylene Rayder appears to be busy as usual. I don't know what she is up to here in the Flatland Restaurant.
Raylene Rayder is busy still in this photograph. Again, I have no idea what she is doing but I'm sure it is necessary.
Janice Kennedy at the Flatland Restaurant in Dumas
This picture of Lee Shelton and his wife was taken in the lobby of the Days Inn Motel on Friday, March 18, 2011. I should be ashamed of myself for not remembering the name of the new Mrs. Shelton. I was properly introduced but for the life of me I can't recall her name. This is your webmaster's fault and certainly not the fault of the ones pictured.
This picture represents the Class of 1960 and what I believe to be their wives or husbands. I did not attempt to name those seated at this table in the Flatland Restaurant in Dumas.

This is Alice Henderson one more time. I was particularly interested in getting the painting of the Austin Store and Post Office in Yancopin show above the Pop Kola sign. This picture was taken in Bonnie's Cafe in Watson, Arkansas. I don't have to explain where Yancopin is. If you have a problem with remembering, just contact Mike Rice. He is an expert on Yancopin. This isn't a joke. He really is an expert on it.
This beautiful young lady is Kim Dilallo the daughter of Leo Humphreys
Homer Boyd just hours before his untimely death as a result of a massive heart attack.

It took several shots but eventually I will get everyone of those representing the Class of 1971 in one or the other pictures.
It's either speech or award time for the Class of 1971
I think this represents the entire Class of 1971 that was present for their reunion. Hopefully they will enjoy the picture.
